Originally located on Tropicana Avenue, the Pinball Hall of Fame has relocated to a massive, custom-built 25,000-square-foot facility right on the Las Vegas Strip. Founded by Tim Arnold and the Las Vegas Pinball Collectors Club, this non-profit museum is dedicated to preserving the history of pinball and arcade games.

Inside, visitors will find over 400 operational games, all fully restored and playable. The collection spans several decades, featuring rare electromechanical games from the 1950s, classic 1980s video cabinets, and the newest modern pinball releases. It is a lively, clinking symphony of bells, chimes, and flippers.

Unlike the surrounding casinos, there are no slot machines or high-stakes tables here. Every machine operates on quarters, and all excess revenues after operating costs are donated to local charities. It is a wholesome, budget-friendly slice of classic Americana in the heart of Vegas.

Visitor Tips

  • Bring cash to use the on-site change machines, as all games require quarters.
  • Look for the oldest, rarest games from the 1950s and 60s, which usually cost just one quarter to play.
  • Combine your visit with a photo op at the nearby 'Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas' sign.
  • Check the small cards on the machines for historical facts and trivia about that specific game.

Heads Up

  • The environment is very loud, flashing, and sensory-heavy, which may be overwhelming for some visitors.
  • A portion of the machines may be down for maintenance during your visit due to their vintage nature.
