Built in the 1980s by Tom Every, this is the world's largest scrap metal sculpture, standing 50 feet tall and weighing 320 tons. This retro-futuristic Victorian spaceship was designed to launch its creator into the heavens. Amazingly, the sculpture incorporates actual Apollo-era decompression chambers.

Created in the 1980s by Tom Every, a former industrial demolitions expert who adopted the persona Dr. Evermor, the Forevertron is recognized as the world's largest scrap metal sculpture. Every built this towering masterpiece as a whimsical vehicle designed to launch himself into space on a magnetic lightning beam.

Standing 50 feet tall and stretching 120 feet wide, the sculpture is a breathtaking assemblage of salvaged 19th-century machinery and historical industrial components. Visitors can marvel at the integration of rare pieces, including Apollo space capsule decontamination chambers and massive electrical generators once owned by Thomas Edison.
