Hidden away on the top floor of the Louis Vuitton flagship store in CityCenter, Akhob is a permanent "Ganzfeld" installation by renowned light artist James Turrell. Commissioned in 2013, this secret masterpiece immerses visitors in a sensory-shifting environment of vibrant, slowly changing colors designed to eliminate depth perception.

Visitors enter a circular opening into two large chambers flooded with rotating, saturated hues of pinks, blues, and golds. The total lack of physical dimensions or horizons creates a disorienting yet deeply meditative optical illusion where light feels almost physical.

Unlike most attractions in Las Vegas, Akhob offers a quiet, almost spiritual escape from the neon chaos of the Strip. It remains one of the city's best-kept secrets, blending high-end luxury with cutting-edge contemporary art.
