World's Largest Buffalo Monument

Standing 26 feet tall and weighing 60 tons, this massive concrete bison has guarded Jamestown since 1959. Affectionately named 'Dakota Thunder,' it offers a classic, larger-than-life roadside photo op. The surrounding site also features a recreated pioneer town and a live buffalo herd.
